Vice President of Ad Operation - Client Services (#206-MH139)

About this job

The Vice President of Ad Operations will lead all, communication, research, evaluation and improvement of the campaign life cycle. The ideal candidate will be an experienced, technical campaign manager who would also enjoy opportunities to leverage their technical expertise, client relationship management and product development. This role is perfect for someone who has a proven ability to execute on campaigns and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Duties will include:

  • Creative, Ad tag, and Pixel management: ensuring all the creatives & thirrd party tags are set up properly and validated for exchange policy compliance (creative and ad servers) as well as checked for malware risks
  • Campaign management & optimization: evaluate campaign performance and optimize campaigns on an ongoing basis, and develop and implement optimization recommendations, where appropriate, to maximize delivery
  • Reporting: monitor reporting systems for availability and accuracy and generate client reports
  • Proactively work with sales and clients to ensure campaigns meet or exceed client goals
  • Provide client service support and maintain excellent working relationships with advertisers, 3rd party vendors, sales, engineering, finance and other internal teams to ensure campaign goals and objectives are satisfied
  • Coordinate with sales, marketing and technology on ad product development to leverage ad system technology and operations experience being built up
  • Identify and implement new trends and technology in advertising operations in order to innovate and drive revenue
  • Coordinate with the technology team in troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues


Duties

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience working in online advertising sales operations
  • Solid understanding of online advertising products / technologies particularly DART and Atlas (RTB experience a plus)
  • Deep understanding of inventory management and campaign delivery management processes
  • Experience with different targeting technologies: contextual, behavioral, audience, re-targeting
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to extract and manipulate a variety of data for the benefit of campaign management, ad operations, and sales
  • Ability to troubleshoot and analyze an issue to arrive at root cause, and provide necessary suggestions for resolution
  • Strong client service skills with an ability to effectively communicate with various audiences
  • Thrives in an informal, rapidly-changing, do-it-yourself style startup culture
