Regional Sales Director (#268-MH245)

About this job
As Regional Sales Director, you will be responsible for the development, execution and management of sales efforts to brands, electronic retailers and marketers in strategic verticals. You will be supported by and will partner with peers in services, engineering, marketing, finance and product roles. This is a player-coach, sales focused, role and will carry an individual quota. As revenues increase, you will have the opportunity to grow your team. This position will report to the VP, Global Revenue.  

Responsibilities:
  • Create regional sales strategy and business plan
  • Consistently hit quarterly quotas for bookings, renewals and other monetization models
  • Lead, mentor and manage a small regional team
  • Directly manage sales efforts and customer/partner relationships
  • Cultivate relationships at all levels within existing and prospective client organizations
  • Drive the highest level of client service by managing the pre- and post-sales processes
  • Develop sales presentations with the assistance of marketing and other personnel
  • Package and activate compelling solutions for leading digital brands
  • Represent the Social Solutions division at regional conferences
  • Own and drive budget, forecasting and expenses for the region
  • Provide clear visibility into sales pipeline, revenue projections and performance
  • Partner with internal marketing, legal, finance and services stakeholders to further optimize and scale regional business


Duties
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Extensive sales experience to fortune 1000 brands and marketers (minimum four to six years) with a track record of meeting and exceeding goals
  • Proven ability to close six figure transactions
  • Understanding of modern CMO mindset, trends in online monetization (including e-commerce) and complexities of the media landscape
  • Superb strategic thinking and exceptional communication skills
  • Passion for digital, technology, social and content; knowledge of relevant internet technology stack including web, mobile and social frameworks
  • Sales management experience (two-plus years) highly preferred
