About this job
The perfect candidate for this position is a competitive, motivated, sales pro with a focus on travel.  You will utilize your in-depth understanding of the online media industry and complexities of the underlying technology from either an ad sales or media planning perspective.   Other responsibilities include:
  • Driving new business with a travel platform (60 million uniques in-market travel enthusiasts in our network) designed to meet the specific demands of hospitality marketers
  • Providing solid and innovative solutions for your clients
  • Working in an entrepreneurial environment that is performance-driven, with tremendous upside earning potential
  • Delivering exceptional results and continually exceeding sales goals while developing strategic relationships with direct and interactive decision makers
  • Utilize your strong problem-solving skills to provide custom solutions based on client marketing objectives
  • Proficiently communicate the subject of online advertising technologies, including optimization, advanced targeting, inventory sources, attribution analysis and trading desks.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or experience equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years of online media experience with expertise in the network, DSP, and/or exchange
  • Excellent business communication and presentation skills
  • In depth understanding of digital media and consumer behavior 
  • A strategic thinker, with the ability to translate marketer needs into compelling concepts and solutions
  • Must be comfortable and proficient with the entire sales cycle from prospecting, face to face meetings, pitching and contract negotiations
  • Experience in and understanding of consumer behavior
  • Proven collaboration skills, with ability to lead cross functional teams to achieve sales results
  • Passionate student of online media best practices and trends
