Inside Sales Manager (#233-MH237)

About this job

We are currently seeking candidates for an Inside Sales Manager role.  The primary responsibility is to support field sales representatives by generating qualified leads and setting up appointments.  You must be able to articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users.  You will support outside sales with various activities in during the sales cycle including webinars, marketing collateral, coordination and logistics. As an expert user, you will generate a variety of weekly sales and revenue reports using salesforce.com.  You will use a variety of cold calling, emailing, social media, and direct mail techniques to locate and reach our target audience and specific VP and C-level executives.

Ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track record in sales and knowledge of technology, comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base, possess strong presentation skills and be able to communicate professionally on the phone, letters, and emails.  You must be extremely well organized with the ability to track literally hundreds of simultaneous leads and companies across multiple field sales personnel.

 

We are open to either a professional inside sales representative or someone looking to gain experience in order to transition to field sales. Start up DNA is a must.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Outbound calling to potential clients
  • Direct sales to clients when possible
  • Set appointments for *qualified* opportunities for new clients with external sales team
  • Assist senior management as well as external sales team in tracking down contact information on potential targets
  • Identify decision makers amongst the targeted leads in order to start sales process
  • Competitive intelligence gathering
  • Weekly Reporting on Sales Pipe and Revenues
  • Coordinate with marketing in order to manage and qualify website leads
  • Develop a lead generation plan, meeting or exceeding monthly targets
  • Maintain and expand the database of prospects of the organization
  • Attend sales group meetings concerning sales targets or forecasts, reporting on market situation
  • Coordinate with client service on pending and new clients
  • Providing effective product demos for end-user prospects
  • Travel in support of sales or training meetings, customer site visits, and/or trade shows.


Duties

Requirements:

  • College Graduate
  • 3-5 years work experience in digital media or technology field
  • Expert user of salesforce.com
  • Able to work in fast-paced, self-directed entrepreneurial environment
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly proficient level computer skills including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Highly energetic and self-starter
  • Decision-making, problem resolution and creative thinking skills
  • Able to multi-task the activities with shifting priorities
  • Should be honest, assertive and systematic
