Ad Ops Director (#260 - MH4)

About this job

We are looking for highly motivated Vice President to lead our advertising operations into our next growth phase. The primary responsibility of this role is to manage all aspects of our advertising operations and to lead a current team of 4 ad ops manager to effectively monetize our ad inventory, deliver all sold campaigns to the clients full satisfaction and support the sales team of 10 sales directors across the nation with reporting and forecasts. 

Basic Qualifications:

  • BS/BA or equivalent experience is necessary
  • 5 years of ad operations using DART – Pharma experience is a plus
  • A strong background working with publishers and sales reps
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Outstanding computer skills including advanced knowledge of DART, spreadsheets (MS Excel), word processing (MS Word), presentations (MS PowerPoint) and 3rd party/CRM systems
  • Demonstrated experience effectively optimizing marketing campaigns by analyzing performance and recommending adjustments to key performance drivers.

Duties

Responsibilities Include:

  • Campaign Implementation
    • Brand campaigns consist of Pharma and CPG advertisers, both with unique demands and needs.
    • The Pharma advertisers have very specific targeting needs, detailed exception policies and extremely low tolerance for errors.
    • Running an Ad Operation without error in this category is critical, and requires deep, hands on knowledge of the DART as well as ability to learn the needs of our key advertisers.
  • Monetization:
    • Put into action procedures and tracking to maximize revenue from inventory not sold by Brand team
    • Done through a hierarchy of Direct Response (DR) advertisers, networks, brokers and RTB where eCPM is the primary measure.
  • Email:
    • We currently send several newsletters and dedicated emails daily using a proprietary targeting, employment and reporting system.
    • Overseeing the correct deployment and maximization of revenue is part of this role.
  • Support:
    • This role will work closely with the VP of Sales Operations who manages the Account team.
    • Account Manager work closely with the Sales Directors to make sure camaoings are implemented to the clients full satisfaction.
    • They then interact with AdOps to make sure all is implemented correctly, pacing and performance is to expectations etc.
    • It will be the VP of AdOps responsibility that communication is effective, that reports arte set up and expectations delivered on.
