Account Executive/Senior Account Executive (#297 - MH217)

There is an immediate opening for a Sr. Account Executive, reporting to the Regional VP Sales, who will be responsible for the mid-west territories. A very motivated and creative person who is excited about working for a small company that's making big waves in the music space will be successful in this position.


  • Delivering and exceeding revenue goals
  • Cover the assigned territories and accounts
  • Prospecting new accounts and agencies
  • Identify and close major brand advertisers
  • Work with both agencies and clients to bring in business
  • Set up meetings/presentations with agencies and clients
  • Negotiate with agencies and clients on details of campaigns
  • Successfully manage agency and client expectations
  • Entertain Client and agency contacts
  • Oversee the status of advertising campaigns
  • Work with sales development team on presentations materials and proposals
  • Meet deadlines and prioritize tasks
  • Write reports and keep records on all business that runs through your office

Skill set and Abilities:

  • Full understanding of the online media business and the business of prospective advertisers
  • A minimum of 3 years in online ad sales with success at large brand marketing campaigns and sponsorships
  • Minimum of $2 million per year in annual booked ad revenue
  • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiating skill
  • Proven ability to be self-motivating and work independently, as well as operate in fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated a strong analytical ability for strategic sales development, including interpretation of media research and analysis for effective use as a sales tool
  • Demonstrated the ability to create and present promotional concepts that enhance clients’ marketing efforts
